Valentine's Day does not need to be all about chocolate (although I'm not complaining that it typically is). Each year I treat myself to a bottle of my favorite prosecco, some Nada Moo, and an evening to myself. 

If you need to spice up your own self-love for Valentine's Day I highly recommend popping a bottle in honor of yourself. Don't forget to love yourself on this day, too!

I know this year I'll be making this for my Galentine's Day celebration with my girlfriends. If you don't know what Galantine's Day is, it's the day before February 14 and is dedicated to celebrating your female friends who support and empower you. It's a fun way to avoid the actual holiday if you're not into the hype of Valentine's Day.

My personal favorite brand of prosecco is Mionetto because it's perfectly sweet and dry. I like champagne, but sometimes it doesn't have any flavor dimension to it the way prosecco does. You can use champagne, though, if that is what you prefer!

Ingredients

Instructions for one serving. Option to combine all ingredients into a large bowl like a punch would simply require multiplying these measurements by 6. 

  • 4 oz. of prosecco*
  • 1 tbsp of raspberry sorbet
  • 5-6 frozen or fresh raspberries
  1. Pour the prosecco into a wine glass, followed by the raspberry sorbet, and raspberries. Swirl the combination in the glass to help distribute the flavors. Enjoy!
